Refunds & Cancellations
Placeholder copy — not legal advice. This page is the human-readable face of the booking, payments, and dispute systems (Modules 06, 05, 18, and 19). Where this page and the code disagree, the code is wrong, not the page — reconcile them.

When you are charged
You authorize a hold when you bid. When you win and the booking is confirmed, the payment is captured in full. Commission is deducted from the Talent's share, not added to your price.
Cancelling a booking
You may cancel a confirmed booking up to the cancellation cut-off before the session starts for a full refund. After the cut-off, the booking is treated as delivered and is not automatically refundable — raise a dispute instead if something went wrong. The exact cut-off is the one enforced by the booking system.
Rescheduling
Where rescheduling is available, moving a session to a new time does not create a new charge and does not by itself entitle either party to a refund. (The rescheduling rules follow Module 19 once shipped; until then, cancel-and-rebook applies.)
No-shows
- Talent does not attend — you are refunded in full.
- You do not attend — the session is treated as delivered and is generally not
refundable.
- Neither attends — the charge is reversed.
These outcomes are decided from the recorded join and end times of the session.
Disputes and chargebacks
If a session was not as described, ended early, or suffered a technical failure, you can open a dispute within the dispute window after it ends. An administrator reviews the evidence — including the session's join and end times — and may grant a full refund, a partial refund, a split, or deny the claim. A bank chargeback is handled through the same process. While a dispute is open, the Talent's payout is held.
How refunds are paid
Refunds go back to the original payment method. Timing depends on your bank and our payment processor.
