What cookies we set
We group cookies into four categories. Only the strictly necessary category is set without asking; everything else waits for your choice in the cookie banner, and you can change that choice at any time from Cookie settings in the footer.
| Category | Examples | Set without consent? |
|---|---|---|
| Strictly necessary | Sign-in session, CSRF protection | Yes — the site cannot work without them |
| Functional | Referral attribution, livestream referral | No |
| Analytics | Product analytics | No |
| Marketing | None today | No |
Why the referral cookie is not "necessary"
Our 30-day referral cookie records which member introduced you, so we can credit them. That is our commercial interest, not something your session needs. If you decline functional cookies, the referral is simply not attributed — the site works exactly the same for you.
Managing your choice
Your choice is stored in a first-party cookie for 13 months and, if you are signed in, recorded against your account. Reopen the banner any time with Cookie settings to withdraw or change consent — it is as easy to decline as to accept.
Changes
We publish a new dated version when this policy changes.
